The founder of Maliban, Mr A G Hinnyappuhamy was a great philanthropist. Long before the term “Corporate Social Responsibility” evolved he took many initiatives to uplift lives of underprivileged people. The company has been contributing to the society in the last five decades by helping to build and upgrade hospitals, schools, temples, churches and community centers etc and carried out numerous projects helping the poor and the needy around the neighborhood as well as across the country.
